Newly arrived on the Stash radar, the motion crew at Palomino in Seoul tackle the challenge of brightening up Samsung’s annual global semiconductor forum with a spirited and playful CG title sequence.
Shinwoo Lee, manager/supervisor at Palomino: “Due to the nature of the client’s business, if the video had a tech-like feel, it would feel boring, so various materials and colors were used to create a cheerful feel.
“The visual motif of colored round chips are actually ‘wafers’ of semiconductors. At the end we created a scene where lines starting from one of these wafers are organically connected to each other. Through this visual build-up, the conference logo was completed.”
