In what may be the most extravagant unboxing of all time, London CG specialists Mainframe reveal the ARC-52 single malt, a collaboration between Scottish distillery Bowmore and Aston Martin limited to 100 bottles and expected to retail for $75,000.
Adam Jenns, founder/director at Mainframe in London: “Aston Martin and Bowmore collaborated to create a limited-edition decanter housed in a beautifully designed case. ARC-52 is born from a shared commitment to shape, form, and everlasting beauty.
“The Aston Martin design style is evident in the futuristic and balanced lines and flow of the decanter which contains a single malt matured for a remarkable 52 years in a sherry butt and an American oak ex-bourbon hogshead.
“Due to the complexity of the packaging, as well as the reflective nature of the chrome lid of the decanter, Burgess Studio wanted to create a fully CG unboxing video for this limited-edition collector’s piece.”
“After discussing the features of the decanter with the client we set about looking for angles and movements that best described its fluid lines, creating an elegant journey and revealing its beautifully engraved body.”
