Inspired in part by the avant-garde conceptual energy of Dada, French studio Temple Caché stirs collage, animation, and 3D camera techniques into a psychedelic experiment for Barcelona-based music duo O’o.
From the team at Temple Caché: “The objective of the film is to illustrate the complexity of and fascination for the floral and the animal, and their relation to the pleasure, bewitchment, and eroticism that nature inspires.
“Like the theme of the song, the production and direction are organic, the clip being a collaboration between several artists at Temple Caché, of various origins, genres, and ages.
“Clara Liu’s minimalist, colorful and poetic drawing aesthetic and the surrealist and erotic collages created by the studio, handled by Chloé Guillemet and Thibaut Leroy, make a sensitive mix in perfect harmony with the desired universe.
“The assembly of the different plastic forms is carried out by Temple Caché partners Kelzang Ravach as artistic director and Marion Castéra as animation director.
“The 3D animation and compositing can also give a completely different reading to the clip and are entrusted to the sensitivity of Thibaut Leroy, our multi-talented Kamaji at Temple Caché.”
