From the team at Found in London: “As part of Found’s ongoing investigations into light and form, the studio looked at the world of construction and fabrication, seeking beauty in the kineticism of hard materials.
“By approaching light as a material, rather than a photographic tool, Found were able to consider it equally alongside other physical parts. In this exploratory film, light becomes the unifying force of a construction that feels rich, modern, and utilitarian.
“Passing from the smallest through to the largest elements, light is used to trigger, tag, and assemble the components in a cascading, domino-like sequence of light and form.
“Tension is created through the finest moments of contact. Scale is creatively employed throughout the sequence to take us from the smallest spark to the fully illuminated, complete kinetic sculpture.”
