Based on the work of Canadian comic artist Dave Cooper and directed by Oslo 3D master Rune Spaans, The Absence of Eddy Table follows a wide-eyed character as he explores “an exotic world glistening with phallic flowers and libidinous danger.”
An award winner at many festivals, the all-CG film is hard to classify but feels like both David Lynch and David Cronenberg would enjoy its eccentric brand of romantic horror.
Side note: Spaans was the CGI lead on this sweet standout BBC holiday spot from 2017.
