The Yeti crew in Athens took a break from the flow of commercial projects to work out some whimsical summer-flavored motion ideas in a vibrant in-house film they call “Fruitless.”
Tony Zagoraios at Yeti: “We made the whole project in Cinema 4D but we faced a few challenges regarding parts of the simulation. For that reason, we pushed ourselves to adopt new techniques from plugins like XParticles, Realflow, TFD, and finally Houdini, which is always a tough issue to handle.
“The ultimate challenge was to unite all the sims from the above plugins/programs into Cinema 4D and make them suit to the Pop/Fun style we were aiming for.”
